Description Pay Rate: $18-$20 Position Summary The Warehouse Specialist is a critical, hands-on role responsible for foundational inventory and logistics support—receiving, staging, inspecting, and preparing products and materials for shipping. Work will involve operating warehouse equipment, maintaining accurate records, adhering to safety and organizational standards, and contributing to continuous improvement efforts. Requirements Primary Responsibilities Champion safety by leading with a safety-first mindset. You are empowered to speak up and act before risks arise. Process and package shipments via LTL and UPS Ground Accurately stock and replenish inventory Perform hydro testing and painting of products as needed Inspect incoming/outgoing shipments for damage or defects Verify and fulfill orders and customer-specific purchases Complete tasks as directed based on production needs Understand and follow department procedures and processes Keep paperwork and documentation neat and accurate Actively contribute ideas to streamline and optimize warehouse procedures Adhere to company standards including PPE usage, part handling, and workplace organization (5S) Perform other duties as assigned Education, Experience & Qualifications Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent Comfortable operating forklifts, hand trucks, pallet jacks, and warehouse tools Familiarity with shipping/receiving documents and basic computer use (e.g., Microsoft Office) Preferred Prior experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment Practice with hydro testing or product painting (beneficial but not required) Skills & Characteristics Dependable and punctual, with strong attendance and proactive communication Organized and meticulous, maintaining tidy work areas and accurate records (5S mindset) Self-starter, efficient, resourceful, and capable of adapting quickly to new responsibilities Problem solver with the initiative to identify and suggest process improvements Strong team player with a positive work attitude and stewardship mindset Physical Requirements Exposure to a manufacturing facility with variable temperatures, dust, fumes, oils, and high noise levels; PPE required Lifting 50 lbs. regularly; occasional heavy lifting and physical exertion Ability to stand, walk, bend, and move continuously during shifts Capable of using warehouse equipment and tools safely (e.g., table saw, nail gun, drill, measuring tape)
