Description The Warehouse Specialist provides warehouse operations, logistics coordination, inventory control, and material handling support under the IMCS IV contract at Aberdeen Proving Grounds (APG), MD. The position supports Installation Management Command (IMCOM) and RNEC operations by ensuring proper receipt, storage, issuance, and accountability of telecommunications, IT equipment, tools, and materials. The Warehouse Specialist ensures compliance with Department of Defense (DoD), Army property accountability regulations, and contract requirements while maintaining mission readiness. Requirements Required Qualifications • Minimum two (2) years of warehouse, logistics, or inventory management experience. • Experience maintaining inventory records and performing physical inventories. • Ability to operate warehouse equipment safely. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and inventory tracking systems. • Valid driver’s license. • Ability to obtain and maintain required security clearance. · Meet DoD Cyber Workforce Framework (DCWF) Code 011 requirements Desired Qualifications • Experience supporting Department of Defense (DoD) or Army installations. • Familiarity with Army property accountability regulations. • Forklift certification preferred. • Experience supporting telecommunications or IT equipment inventories. Performance Expectations The Warehouse Specialist is expected to maintain accurate inventory accountability; ensure timely issuance and receipt of materials; maintain compliance with Army and contractual requirements; support audits and inspections; and contribute to efficient, mission-ready logistics operations at APG under the IMCS IV contract. Primary Responsibilities • Receive, inspect, verify, and document incoming shipments of equipment, parts, and materials. • Store materials in accordance with safety, environmental, and security requirements. • Issue equipment and supplies to authorized personnel and maintain transaction records. • Operate material handling equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, forklifts) as required. • Maintain accurate warehouse inventory records and conduct periodic physical inventories. • Label, package, and prepare equipment for shipment or transfer. • Maintain orderly warehouse layout and ensure compliance with safety standards. Inventory & Property Accountability • Track serialized and non-serialized assets in accordance with Army property accountability requirements. • Support Government Furnished Equipment (GFE) accountability and reporting. • Reconcile discrepancies and report inventory variances to management. • Assist with lifecycle tracking including receipt, deployment, maintenance coordination, and disposition. Compliance & Reporting • Ensure compliance with Army supply policies and applicable regulations. • Support audits, inspections, and inventory validations. • Maintain accurate electronic and hard-copy documentation. • Provide inventory and warehouse status reports to contract leadership as required.
