What You'll Be Doing The Water Heater Warehouse Specialist is responsible for the accurate handling, stocking, staging, and loading of water heaters and related equipment and materials. This role plays a key part in ensuring field technicians have what they need to deliver exceptional service and installation to our customers. The ideal candidate has strong attention to detail, is highly organized, and thrives in a fast-paced, team-focused environment. This position also requires frequent driving to job sites or supply vendors to pick up and deliver equipment or materials as needed. What You’ll Do, includes but may not be limited to: Receive, inspect, and stock incoming water heater units and accessories. Pull and stage equipment and parts for scheduled installations and service calls. Maintain accurate inventory counts and report discrepancies. Ensure proper storage and handling to prevent damage to units or parts. Load and unload delivery trucks using a forklift or pallet jack. Conduct regular cycle counts and assist in physical inventory audits. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse space. Communicate effectively with service and install teams regarding material needs and availability. Track and return unused or warranty parts per company policy. Adhere to all safety policies and procedures, including proper lifting techniques and PPE use. Drive to job sites or supply vendors to pick up or deliver water heaters and related materials as assigned. Requirements What We’re Looking For High school diploma or equivalent preferred Previous warehouse or inventory experience preferred. Familiarity with water heaters or plumbing/HVAC equipment a plus. Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record required pursuant to company policy Forklift certification or ability to become certified required Ability to lift up to 75 lbs + and stand, bend, or climb for extended periods. Basic computer or inventory system skills.
