PART-TIME WAREHOUSE/CUSTOMER SERVICE POSITION SPS Fire Protection is seeking a part-time employee for our Wichita, KS location. We welcome your stellar work ethic and positive attitude. At SPS Fire Protection, we provide premier fire protection products and fabrication to the fire protection industry in the greater Wichita area and surrounding states. Products and services offered include pipe fittings, valves, pipe hangers, and fire sprinkler accessories as well as metal pipework services. In this position, responsibilities include: • Operating a forklift to load and unload trucks and to stock material in the warehouse • The ability to lift to 70lbs on occasion • Receiving product into our computer system • Maintaining inventory levels • Entering and picking orders for customers • Using computer skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel, as well as running reports within our system to manage inventory cycle counts. Experience in customer service is preferred, but not required. This is a 20 hour per week, Part-Time position with hours being 7am to 12pm. Starting wage is $15 per hour. Any offer of employment is contingent on successful completion of background screening, to include a drug screen and physical and the ability to qualify for our fleet safety requirements to operate company vehicles.

Responsibilities

The employee will operate a forklift to load, unload, and stock materials while managing inventory levels. Additional duties include entering customer orders and running system reports for cycle counts.
