Staff365 are recruiting for experienced stock controllers with a FLT license for our client located in Barnsley.
This is a 12 week temp - perm role
Hours of work are 06:00-14:00 Monday - Friday, due to the nature of the business and covering of holidays you must also at times be able to work other day shifts to cover ie 8 hours 08:00-16:00/09:00-17:00 and 10:00-18:00
Starting salary is £12.50 phr paid weekly with a skills matrix in place so you can earn more after successfully passing probation and being signed off in training material.

OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Stocker to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining inventory levels and ensuring that products are readily available for customers. This position requires a strong understanding of business processes and supply chain management, along with the ability to perform heavy lifting and operate various systems effectively.

EXPERIENCE

  • Previous experience in a warehouse or supply chain environment is preferred.
  • Familiarity with an internal inventory management systems is advantageous.
  • Strong analytical skills to assess stock levels and identify trends.
  • Competent at using a FLT CB to access and move stock
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and communicate clearly with colleagues.
  • Capable of carrying out manual handling on a regular basis
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving, particularly regarding inventory management challenges.

Responsibilities
  • Stock shelves and maintain product displays to ensure an organised shopping environment.
  • Monitor inventory levels and assist in the ordering process to replenish stock as needed.
  • Conduct regular audits of stock to identify discrepancies and assist in root cause analysis.
  • Collaborate with warehouse staff and third-party logistics (3PL) providers to streamline operations.
