Description
Lumax Energy, a leading manufacturer of engineered solar mounting structures, is seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Warehouse Stock Picker to join our team in Clayville. The successful candidate will be responsible for accurately and efficiently picking stock according to pick slips or dispatch instructions. This position requires high attention to detail, adherence to quality standards, and the ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced warehouse environment. The role also contributes to maintaining Lumax Energy’s high standards of product integrity and traceability by ensuring that all items are correctly picked, labelled, and photographed prior to dispatch. Key responsibilities include assisting in inventory control, maintaining housekeeping and safety standards, and ensuring operational flow within the warehouse. The position requires physical capability, teamwork, and a strong sense of accountability. Key Responsibilities Accurately pick and pack items in accordance with pick slips or dispatch instructions. Verify product codes, descriptions, and quantities to ensure order accuracy. Stage picked stock in designated dispatch areas and label items as required. Conduct basic visual quality checks to identify damaged or incorrect goods. Report discrepancies or quality concerns to the Warehouse Supervisor or Manager. Maintain a clean and organised work area in line with health and safety standards. Assist with loading and offloading of goods, stock movements, and general warehouse duties. Participate in stock counts, reconciliations, and other inventory activities as required. Minimum Requirements Education: Matric (Grade 12) – compulsory. Experience: At least 2 years of warehouse or order-picking experience preferred. Language: Must be able to read, write, and communicate effectively in English. Technical Skills: Basic numeracy and quantity verification. Ability to operate handheld scanners and warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and trolleys. Soft Skills: Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Team player with good communication skills. Reliable, punctual, and able to follow instructions precisely.
