About the role This full-time, permanent position is primarily focused on general warehouse operations, with some responsibility for supporting basic laser machine tasks. Hours of work are Monday to Friday 6am-2:30pm. Key Responsibilities Pick, pack, and prepare stainless and aluminium plate orders for dispatch Load and unload trucks, plate, and sheet material using forklifts or gantry cranes Perform product identification and heat number transfers Maintain accurate stock records and assist with regular stocktakes Organise daily consumables and support production teams as needed Keep the warehouse clean, safe, and well organised Learn and support basic laser machine setup and operation (full training provided) Previous experience in a warehouse, dispatch, or store person role Forklift licence and/or gantry crane experience (preferred, or willing to obtain) Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious Full Class 1 driver’s licence and reliable transport Basic computer literacy Join a supportive team where your contributions are valued Long-term career opportunities in a stable, growing business On-the-job training and development to help you succeed Access to Vulcan’s health and wellness programme Represent a trusted brand and make a tangible impact on the industry Ready to Join Us?
