Role Overview

The Storeman Forklift Driver is responsible for organising inventory within the warehouse and the stock within the warehouse to ensure the smooth functioning of warehouse operations. National Auto Glass is seeking an individual who is reliable, organised and punctual.

Key Accountabilities

• Keep a clean and safe working environment and optimise space utilisation.
• Stock inventory management.
• Prepare and pack orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule.
• Communicate and cooperate with Managers and co-workers.
• Fulfil other duties requested by management as required.
• Prepare and complete orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule.
• Load, Transport and unload deliveries to customers.
• Ensuring customer satisfaction by interacting in a polite and respectful manner.
• Conducting periodical stock take weekly & full stock takes on a monthly basis
• Unloading stock from containers and ensuring storage and handling of materials in accordance with SWP’s (Safe Work Procedures)
• Checking received stock against packing lists
• Perform stock rotation by putting away crates in correct locations and replenishing stock.
• Loading crates and cartons onto freight company delivery vehicles.
• Report any damage to stock or structure in the performance of your duties.

Qualifications and Skills

• Current Forklift Licence
• Experience in warehousing/logistics
• Excellent time management and organisational skills.
• Ability to lift heavy items.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
