What we are looking for :

We’re looking for a full-time Warehouse Leading Hand to manage the daily operations of our production warehouse and receiving area. This is a hands-on role reporting into the Logistics Manager, that combines operational responsibilities with leading a small team, ensuring accurate inventory, maintaining safety standards, and supporting the efficient flow of materials to both production and customers. Reporting to the Logistics Manager, we’re looking for someone that has :

  • Proven leadership skills and the ability to motivate and hold a team accountable
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office and ERP/WMS systems
  • High attention to detail and accuracy in inventory management
  • Excellent organisation and time management in a fast-paced environment
  • Minimum 2 years’ warehouse/logistics experience (supervisory experience preferred)
  • A current Forklift (LF) licence (LO licence desirable)

This role will be based onsite at our HQ in Scoresby.

Team Leadership & Operations


Responsibilities

  • Processing/picking/dispatch of orders.
  • Operating forklifts to pick and store stock when necessary.
  • Managing, maintaining and championing quality standards.
  • Ensuring all non-compliance reports are managed in accordance with prescribed processes and promptly reported.
  • Perform or assist with stock checks and stocktakes.
  • Manage internal and external communications where required, including liaising with internal stakeholders (such as sales and customer service) regarding any updates to deliveries.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of the Warehouse department.
  • Management of raw materials to & from production processes.

About you

The successful candidate will have:

  • A current and valid Forklift Licence (required).
  • Previous experience in a Warehouse Supervisor role or similar (required).
  • Sound knowledge of warehouse operation using RF scanning equipment.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and demanding environment.
  • Exceptional time management skills and a high level of attention to detail.
