JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Warehouse Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of our warehouse, handling various tasks related to materials management. This position requires physical stamina and a keen attention to detail, as you will be responsible for heavy lifting, picking and packing items, and maintaining an organised workspace.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Previous experience in a warehouse/yard environment is essential.
  • Strong mechanical knowledge is advantageous for operating equipment.
  • Familiarity with inventory management systems is a plus.
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting consistently throughout the shift.
  • Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail.
  • Driving licence with 6 points or less is essential.
  • Capability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while adhering to safety protocols.
  • A proactive attitude towards teamwork and communication.
  • Previous experience of working with civils/telecoms build equipment is an advantage.

Responsibilities
  • Perform heavy lifting and manual handling of goods as required.
  • Accurately pick and pack orders for dispatch, ensuring all items are correctly selected.
  • Load and unload materials from lorries, ensuring safe handling practices are followed.
  • Maintain an organised stock area, ensuring that all items are stored correctly within the warehouse.
  • Utilise warehouse management systems (WMS) to track inventory levels and manage stock effectively.
  • Assist with materials handling tasks, including sorting and storing incoming goods.
  • Operate warehouse equipment safely and efficiently as needed.
  • Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational goals.
