Accent Controls, Inc. is seeking a full-time, exempt Warehouse Specialist Supervisor for the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Distribution, located in San Diego, CA.
JOB SUMMARY:
The Warehouse Supervisor for the Preservation, Packaging, Packing and Marking team (PPP&M) oversees the storage and distribution operations directing employees engaged in receiving, storing, issue, shipment and distribution of materials, equipment, and commodities using automated and manual material handling equipment, devices, and systems. Plans the use of subordinate workers, equipment, facilities, and materials based on projected or actual workload. Establishes deadlines, priorities, and work sequences IAW work schedules, methods, policies, and procedures established by the Site Manager and/or Alternate Site Manager. Redirects resources to accomplish work demands and meet APLs and other performance metrics. Assists with the planning of work schedules, providing workload data, estimates, staffing and other resource needs, and provides recommendations to ensure accurate, timely completion of work activities. Uses WMS and other Government and company furnished data systems to perform PWS and company requirements.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
High School Diploma (or equivalent).
Minimum of three (3) years of experience in a distribution and warehousing environment using a WMS or equivalent automated system within the past five (5) years.

Ability to stand, squat, and have full range of motion, wear Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) as needed for job duties, lift at least 40 pounds, and see, hear and respond to dangerous situations.
