Description
Summary: The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for coordinating and overseeing Material Handlers involved in the receiving, shipping, and distribution of raw materials. This role ensures compliance with safety standards, optimizes material flow, and maintains inventory accuracy to support manufacturing operations efficiently. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:  * Lead and manage personnel while ensuring accountability for all activities. * Audit work for accuracy and conformance to policies and procedures. * Study and continuously improve procedures to enhance safety, quality, and efficiency. * Schedule and audit cycle counts to ensure compliance and accuracy. * Ensure employees are properly certified and safely operate material handling equipment. * Monitor the receiving of materials for manufacturing needs and verify shipment details for accuracy. * Oversee and administer shipping orders for outgoing products. * Resolve discrepancies with accounting regarding invoices, packing slips, and receiver reports. * Oversee the supply of materials to production and ensure proper staging for assembly. * Ensure materials are stored properly to conserve space and comply with safety procedures. * Ensure compliance with regulatory and customer requirements. * Ensure the accuracy of all team members’ time cards and adherence to time off standards. Education/ Experience:  * Three to five years of experience in Warehousing, Receiving, Shipping, Inventory Control, or Materials Management in a manufacturing environment with at least one year of leadership experience. * High school diploma or equivalent required; some college preferred. Job Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:  * Strong knowledge of receiving, shipping, and material handling operations, methods, and practices. * Ability to develop personnel and equipment structures to support present and future operations. * Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to read, analyze, and interpret written instructions. * Confidence in presenting information and responding to questions from management. * Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. * Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
