We are currently looking to recruit a Team Leader to join the expanding warehouse team at our site in Somersham St Ives. You will need to display great teamwork and show determination to hit daily targets.

The role:

• Supporting the Management Team with the day-to-day operation of the warehouse, responsible for a group of operators and ensuring an efficient warehouse operation in achieving business targets.
• Provide line management to the team, coordinating their workloads, providing support to ensure that the team delivers, monitoring any issues, and ensuring production targets

Duties and responsibilities

• Loading and unloading of delivery vehicles and warehouse duties as required.
• Liaising with other teams, ensuring good communication and following instructions
• Operating plant and equipment in a safe manner
• Ensuring all paperwork is completed satisfactorily and stored in the appropriate way
• General Housekeeping
• To be able to think on your feet and self-risk assess

Essential:

• The ideal candidate will have experience in heavy lifting and general warehouse duties.
• Be immediately available
• Physically fit
• Enjoy working in a busy team and able to work effectively on your own
