EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

  • 3+ years of combined management experience in Warehousing, Inventory control or Manufacturing
  • Proven track record of managing a cross functional team
  • Strong communication, interpersonal skill, leadership, and conflict resolution
  • Strong knowledge of modern warehousing practices and methods
  • Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and inventory management software (GME, B4one, EBR)
  • Able to operate forklift and reach truck. Responsible for all scheduled maintenance on Warehouse equipment
  • Experience with inventory control, inventory reconciliation, and cycle counting

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure a culture of Safety in the Warehouse by enforcing safety standards and adhering to standard operational procedures.
  • Ensure a culture of Quality in the Warehouse by enforcing quality standards and adhering to standard operational procedures. Work with QA team to perform investigations as required.
  • Supervision, training, and direct assistance of warehouse operations which include, but not limited to, loading/unloading, receiving, shipping, material handling and inventory control.
  • Drive a culture of accountability and ownership within the warehouse team. Monitor skills matrix to ensure all team members are meeting expectations for warehouse roles.
  • Leading by example to ensure that all procedures and best practices are consistently followed.
  • Drive an efficient and motivated workforce by providing effective coaching, feedback, and encouragement.
  • Maintain accurate inventory levels by leading regular physical counts with warehouse teams and reconcile discrepancies with the warehouse inventory system.
