JOB OVERVIEW

As a Warehouse Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations within our warehouse. Your role will include managing staff, ensuring the accurate and timely handling of goods, and supporting the smooth running of our Warehouse Management System (WMS). You will also handle basic transport bookings with subcontractors, ensuring deliveries and collections are efficiently coordinated.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Proven experience in a warehouse supervisory role.
  • Strong computer skills, with proficiency in WMS software (previous experience required).
  • Familiarity with basic transport and logistics processes, including working with subcontractors.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal abilities.
  • A proactive, problem-solving mindset with attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations in a warehouse environment.

Responsibilities
  • Supervise warehouse staff, ensuring productivity, adherence to safety protocols, and quality standards.
  • Oversee the efficient use of our WMS for stock control, order processing, and reporting.
  • Ensure the accurate receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods.
  • Handle basic transport bookings with subcontractors, coordinating schedules for deliveries and collections.
  • Monitor and maintain warehouse inventory levels to prevent shortages or overstocking.
  • Train, motivate, and mentor warehouse staff to achieve high performance.
  • Conduct regular checks of equipment and facilities, ensuring maintenance needs are reported.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and service delivery.
