Description The Warehouse Supervisor oversees the daily operations of all warehouse functions including shipping, receiving, inventory control, and staff management. This position will work closely with the Supply Chain Manager, Operations Manager, and Manufacturing Supervisor to execute the Operations objectives. Position Responsibilities Develop and manage the warehouse staff to achieve department objectives. Manage the daily operations of all warehouse employee activities. Responsible for domestic and international shipping and logistics. Enforce all company policies and regulatory requirements, such as OSHA and forklift certifications. Promote safe work practices, coaching, and any necessary safety training required in addition to the organization’s safety training. Oversee order processing in the ERP and ensure transactions are accurate. Direct cycle counting activities. Measure and report on KPI’s. Seek out improvements on an ongoing basis. Develop and implement procedures to achieve financial goals as well as to obtain total quality in warehouse functions. Requirements 2+ years’ experience in warehousing or logistics Strong knowledge of manufacturing/operations environment and processes Strong knowledge and practical experience in MRP and ERP systems Demonstrated team building and leadership skills Excellent written and oral communication skills Ability to effectively communicate at all levels across the organization Ability to work well in a fast paced, changing environment Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
