WAREHOUSE SUPERVISOR

Salary: £28,000 per year
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent | Monday–Friday, 08:30–17:00 (37.5 hours per week)
Location: On-site | No weekend working
We’re looking for an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to lead operations, keep stock moving, and support a dedicated team.

PREFERRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

• Previous experience in a warehouse supervisory role (typically 2+ years) or a strong background in warehouse operations with proven leadership skills.
• Good knowledge of warehouse processes, shipping, and logistics.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and independently.
• Forklift Reach Truck experience (in-house licence acceptable).
• Physically fit and able to lift/move goods as required.

• Oversee receiving, unloading, storing, and dispatching goods.
• Ensure accurate picking, packing, and timely loading of customer orders.
• Maintain stock control through regular counts and adherence to FIFO processes.
• Keep warehouse records organised and update work procedures as needed.
• Manage and motivate warehouse staff, including training and performance reviews.
• Ensure health & safety compliance, carrying out risk assessments as required.
• Operate and maintain material handling equipment (Reach Truck – in-house licence accepted).
• Keep warehouse and surrounding areas clean, tidy, and compliant with safety standards.
• Work closely with management to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
