Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Warehouse Supervisor to join our logistics team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of our warehouse, ensuring efficient and effective management of inventory and logistics processes. This is a critical role that requires a strong focus on process improvement, team management, and attention to detail.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

• High school diploma or equivalent (some college coursework preferred)
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in global freight forwarding required
• Minimum 2 years’ experience people management & development required

  Pay: $23.00 - $25.00 per hour
  Expected hours: 40 per week

• Investigating and planning the most appropriate route for a shipment, considering the perishable or hazardous nature of goods, cost, transit time and security;
• Arranging appropriate packing, taking into account the climate, terrain, weight, cost and nature of goods and also the delivery and warehousing of gods at their final destination;
• Negotiating contracts, transportation and handling costs to meet margin requirements and ensure maximum profitability;
• Obtaining, checking and preparing documentation to meet customs and insurance requirements, packing specifications, and compliance with other countries’ regulations and fiscal regimes.
• Utilizing e-commerce, internet technology and satellite systems to enable real-time tracking of goods.
• Perform inventory controls and inventory checking regularly; Maintains a clean work area
• Keep merchandise organized in the warehouse.
• Prepare and complete orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule;
• Deliver / Pick up cargo to the destination as per customer required;
• Unload / Loading container
