Description

Job Summary

The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day warehouse operations within DuPod's modular factory in Dubai. The role ensures the efficient receipt, storage, inventory management, and dispatch of materials, components, and finished products while maintaining safety, accuracy, and operational efficiency. The Warehouse Supervisor acts as the key coordination link between warehouse personnel, production teams, procurement, logistics, and management to support uninterrupted manufacturing operations.


Key Responsibilities:

  1. Supervise daily warehouse activities including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and dispatch operations.
  2. Monitor warehouse staff attendance, productivity, and performance to ensure operational targets are achieved.
  3. Ensure materials and components are accurately received, inspected, and stored according to company procedures.
  4. Maintain accurate inventory records and support regular stock counts, cycle counts, and inventory audits.
  5. Coordinate material issuance to production teams to ensure uninterrupted manufacturing operations.
  6. Ensure compliance with warehouse safety procedures, company policies, and UAE regulations.
  7. Monitor housekeeping standards and ensure the warehouse remains organized, clean, and efficient.
  8. Coordinate with Procurement, Logistics, and Production teams regarding material availability, deliveries, and operational priorities.
  9. Investigate inventory discrepancies and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
  10. Ensure proper handling, storage, and preservation of materials, tools, and equipment.
  11. Support implementation and maintenance of warehouse management systems, documentation, and reporting requirements.
  12. Track warehouse KPIs including inventory accuracy, material availability, stock movements, and operational efficiency.
  13. Identify operational risks, storage constraints, and process improvement opportunities, escalating issues when necessary.
  14. Assist during internal audits, external audits, and management inspections.
  15. Support loading and unloading activities while ensuring compliance with safety and quality requirements.


Qualifications & Skills

  1. Diploma or technical certification in Supply Chain, Logistics, Warehouse Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  2. Bachelor's degree is preferred but not required.
  3. Minimum 5 years of warehouse supervision experience in manufacturing, construction, industrial, or supply chain operations.
  4. Experience within a manufacturing environment is highly preferred; modular construction or construction materials experience is an advantage.
  5. Experience supervising multicultural warehouse teams.
  6. Strong knowledge of inventory management, warehousing processes, and material flow operations.
  7. Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS), ERP systems, and inventory control practices.
  8. Understanding of warehouse safety standards, material handling practices, and risk management.
  9. Ability to coordinate effectively with production, logistics, procurement, and project teams.
  10. Strong problem-solving, organizational, and leadership skills.
  11. Good communication skills in English; Arabic is an advantage.
  12. Proficiency in MS Office applications, particularly Excel and reporting tools.
