WAREHOUSE SUPERVISOR

Forest Produce is one of Europe’s leading foliage producers. It has production bases in Ireland, UK and Italy and supplies cut foliage to flower packers, wholesalers and supermarkets in the UK and continental Europe. The correct candidate will form part of a small team who will be collectively responsible for order capture/management, procurement, quality control and delivery of products that fits customer’s weekly needs.
Duties:
· Will be responsible for management/maintenance of Tralee warehouse & team.
· Responsible for quality control at time of intake, recording and uploading to central computer system.
· Stock control using first in first out system
· Oversee the extraction, packing and dispatch of product to fit customer orders.
· Ensuring compliance with Health & Safety legislation
· Communicating with logistics department
· Plan work rotas & assign staff
· Work as part of a small team.
· Assist with plant propagation in the tunnel

REQUIREMENTS:

· Previous experience in Management & team leadership
· Be familiar with basic computer systems – word/excel
· Proficient numeracy skills
· Have excellent organisational skills
· Have good communication skills
· Ability to make decisions
· The company will require flexibility regarding the successful candidates working hours
· Full driver’s licence.
· 3rd level qualification, desirable, but not essential.
· Good interpersonal skills.
· Good physical health.
