Roles & Responsibilities

Job Purpose:

The role holder is responsible for overseeing the safe, accurate, and timely receiving, staging/storage, and dispatch of goods at the Flour Country facility. This includes managing the dispatch team, coordinating with logistics and warehouse operations, and ensuring strict compliance with SOPs for handling and fulfilment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee all goods receiving, staging, and dispatch operations at the Flour Country warehouse in accordance with company policies and safety guidelines 
• Manage and supervise dispatch teams and local drivers, ensuring efficient manpower utilization and shift planning 
• Coordinate inbound and outbound delivery schedules with Transport Planners and store operations to avoid delays 
• Ensure all dispatched goods are verified, documented, and meet quality and quantity specifications before release 
• Implement and monitor SOPs for loading, unloading, and inventory movement to prevent damage, theft, or loss 
• Track daily dispatch volumes, vehicle turnaround times, and productivity KPIs and report deviations to Warehouse Manager 
• Support periodic physical inventory checks and reconciliation activities, maintaining alignment with system data 
• Promote a safety-first culture by ensuring team compliance with all safety and hygiene protocols 
• Performs stock posting and dispatch confirmation in SAP. 

Desired Candidate Profile

Required Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, or Supply Chain Management or Logistics or equivalent from a recognized and accredited university is required 
• Minimum of 4-7 years of experience warehousing including delivery management, storage, and dispatch
