Responsibilities

ROLE OVERVIEW:

As the Bellshill Supervisor, you will supervise all warehouse processes including managing goods in and out, ensuring vehicle and driver compliance with EU regulations, and maintaining health and safety standards. You will play a critical role in ensuring the warehouse remains compliant, reporting any issues to the Regional Supervisor, and taking responsibility for your own health and safety and that of others.

OTHER DUTIES:

  • Drive delivery vehicles and follow duties and procedures aligned with the Van Driver position.
  • Utilise available resources efficiently to maintain service levels and coverage.
  • Keep all KPI and Cage Count data up-to-date.
  • Audit and reorder fit-critical stock, stationery, and cleaning materials.
  • Ensure 100% recycling of rubbish and fitter kits.
  • Provide feedback on issues or complaints to Distribution Management, Consumer, and New Homes teams.
  • Train and assist new staff, maintain a flexible approach, and complete Working Time Directive timesheets.
  • Maintain housekeeping to ensure a clean and safe working environment.

MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB:

  • Supervise all warehouse processes including Goods In, Picking, Goods Out, Vehicles, and Drivers.
  • Ensure compliance with EU commercial driver and DVSA regulations.
  • Maintain warehouse compliance and report any issues to the Regional Supervisor.
  • Take responsibility for personal health and safety and that of others.
  • Collaborate with employers and co-workers to ensure legal compliance.
