Description Position Overview: Under the direction of the Fulfillment Manager, the Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the parts outbound and inbound inventory duties and functions in accordance with company policies and procedures. Duties include directing and administering the organization’s warehouse management systems, policies, procedures, and initiatives. Responsibilities: Parts and Inbound Inventory: · Responsible for the daily operation of the parts and inbound inventory functions and task assignment · Responsible for the accuracy of inventory. · Oversee the receiving process and put away of merchandise and keep accurate documentation · Label and verify each inbound shipment and check all items for accuracy and in a timely matter · Notify manager when discrepancies occur, over-shipments or substitutions have been made · Follow the goals, objectives and procedures set by the company to ensure maximum productivity and efficiency in improving the operations · Train and mentor associates · Strong written and oral communication skills; attention to detail, prioritization, organization, and multi-tasking Maintain Work Practices: · Maintain work environment to 5S standards · Punctual: begins work on time and returns from lunch and breaks on time · All paperwork and database entries filled out completely and accurately · Promote a positive team atmosphere with co-workers Marginal Job Functions: · Promote a positive, safe, clean, and well-organized work area · Other projects assigned Requirements Education: · High school degree or equivalent required Experience: · 3 – 5 years of experience in a warehouse environment Other Requirements: · Proficient with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel · SAP experience strongly desired · FedEx and UPS shipping experience preferred Benefits: We offer an excellent compensation package and team-oriented work environment with growth opportunities.
