Responsibilities

WHAT WILL YOU DO?

You’ll be the leader of our warehouse crew – part coach, part strategist, part logistics wizard. Your days will be a mix of people (think hiring, training, growing others), operational finesse (scheduling, shipping, space Tetris), and continuous improvement (because “good enough” just isn’t your style). You’ll keep things moving smoothly from packaged beans to shipment ready box, champion safety, and make sure our warehouse runs like a dream – even on Mondays. You’ll also be a go-to on cross departmental projects, ERP wizardry, and the occasional freight fiasco. Basically, if it happens in the warehouse, you’ve got it covered – with a clipboard in one hand and a coffee in the other.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Leadership

  • Lead our small but mighty crew of warehouse associates supporting the day-to-day of our Warehousing team with an emphasis on regular feedback, coaching and development, and teamwork.
  • Take care of everything people-related like hiring, training, celebrating wins, and keeping schedules running smoothly.
  • Lead team Kaizen continuous improvement initiatives and projects, participate in daily Kaizen meetings (DK1s) and leadership meetings.
  • Champion operational excellence and innovation in the warehouse including increasing efficiency, space management, utilization and flow.
  • Manage and deliver projects by fostering collaboration between the Warehousing team and other departments, ensuring alignment, efficiency and timely outcomes.
  • In collaboration with the Supply Chain Director, determine and monitor annual priorities, operational plans and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Drive a safety-first culture by supporting and enabling team members and safety representatives to enable a safe work environment.
  • Lead by example aligned with our values, nurturing a composed and respectful atmosphere that supports team resilience.
