KMS Tools & Equipment is an industrial distributor of tools and equipment with 16 locations in Western Canada. We sell everything from power tools to compressors, welders, hand tools, woodworking machinery, shop equipment & much more! We are proudly Canadian owned and operated and are looking for highly motivated individuals that are passionate about working in the tool industry.

We are seeking candidates to fill a Warehouse Supervisor position in our Coquitlam store location. Ideal candidates will have a passion for customer service, enjoy working in a warehouse environment, and possess a drive to support a team of 3 to 6 warehouse associates. Previous supervisory experience is considered an asset but not required.

This position will require you to work on Saturdays.

Qualifications:

• Has a strong ability to prioritize, plan, and multitask
• Has an exceptional level of organization is able to work independently or as part of a team, and requires minimal supervision
• Has a strong sense of responsibility and is highly motivated to improve processes and procedures
• Has exceptional computer skills including email, web applications, and other software
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds
• Ability to operate warehouse equipment including pallet jacks. Forklift experience is a strong asset, and extra consideration will be given to applicants with that qualification.

Job Responsibilities:

• Receiving shipments from KMS suppliers or other KMS Warehouses, receiving and processing customer orders, processing and picking transfers, maintaining inventory accuracy, processing warranty, etc.
• Learn and become proficient with our operating systems – and other various tools
• Adhere to all policies and procedures
• Maintain an exceptionally clean, safe, organized work space
• Develop efficiencies and delegate responsibilities to team members
• Strive to gain applicable knowledge, attend training events and seminars
• Work with management relating to HR, administration, and training
• Operate warehouse equipment
• Wear steel toed CSA certified footwear
• Assist with any other areas of the store as necessary including, but not limited to; maintenance of inventory accuracy, sales, working special events, etc.
• Work hard to “get it done” and have fun doing so!

Warehouse experience is preferred for this position. We also hire keen candidates with the right attitude, an entrepreneurial spirit and a willingness to learn.

Job Types: Permanent, Full-time

Pay: $21.00-$23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week

Benefits:
