Responsibilities

THE ROLE

Warehouse Supervisors are the driving force behind smooth and efficient operations, ensuring that goods are accurately processed and delivered on time. They take charge of daily activities, lead their teams to success, and act as key problem-solvers for both internal and external stakeholders. Supervisors manage critical areas of the warehouse, including Receiving, Inventory, Order Picking, Shipping, and Returns. They collaborate closely with the Warehouse Floor Manager and Senior Leadership to maintain high standards of productivity and safety. Detail-oriented and adaptable, Warehouse Supervisors thrive in fast-paced environments where priorities shift rapidly. They are skilled communicators, natural leaders, and solutions-focused individuals who ensure their teams are supported and engaged. With strong organizational skills and a commitment to excellence, they create a positive and safe workplace while meeting operational goals.

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Oversee and lead a team of warehouse associates, providing guidance, training, and support.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to team members.
  • Coordinate daily warehouse activities, including receiving, storing, order picking, packing, and shipping.
  • Ensure efficient workflows and meet productivity targets while maintaining quality standards.
  • Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure accuracy and prevent shortages or overstocking.
  • Conduct regular audits and cycle counts to maintain data integrity.
  • Enforce safety protocols and ensure the team adheres to workplace health and safety regulations.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring compliance with company policies.
  • Address and resolve operational challenges quickly and effectively.
  • Communicate with internal and external stakeholders to manage delays, discrepancies, or special requests.
  • Work closely with managers, supervisors, and other departments to achieve business objectives.
  • Coordinate with logistics and supply chain teams for seamless operations.
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes and implement solutions to enhance efficiency.
  • Participate in or lead initiatives to streamline warehouse operations.
