Responsibilities

THE ROLE

We require a dedicated Team Supervisor within our warehouse to oversee and manage tasks assigned primarily by the Warehouse Manager, ensuring processes are adhered to and compliant with business requirements. The Warehouse Team Supervisor is responsible for supervising staff, managing inventory, and ensuring that orders are shipped on time and accurately. This role involves working effectively and efficiently in a dispatch and warehouse environment to ensure sales orders are completed within the required timeframe, including developing a working knowledge of the warehouse. The supervisor will work with relevant departments to ensure customer satisfaction.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist in running an efficient warehouse operation to meet operational and customer demand and set targets.
  • Ensure inventories in the area of responsibility are accurate and stock movements are recorded accurately.
  • Resolve warehouse issues, escalating when necessary.
  • Produce regular reports and statistics as required and review ways to reduce waste.
  • Assist in planning future capacity requirements and ensure health and safety standards are met, carrying out risk assessments.
  • Liaise with Customer Services to resolve delayed orders and troubleshoot dispatch issues.
  • Perform administrative duties, provide excellent customer service, and work with the Warehouse Outbound Team to complete orders on time.
  • Manage sales order allocation, replenishment, and batching, ensuring clarity with the support of the Warehouse Leadership Team.
