JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking an experienced and organised Warehouse Supervisor / Manager to oversee the daily operations of our warehouse facility across our sites, including surrounding areas in and around each site. The role involves managing the storage, handling, distribution, and inventory of construction materials and equipment, ensuring efficient support for site operations and maintaining safety and compliance standards.

KEY SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

  • 3 years of warehouse supervisory/management experience, preferably in construction
  • Strong understanding of construction materials and tools.
  • Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of compliance & health and safety regulations
  • Knowledge of occupational health and safety standards in construction.
Responsibilities
  • Oversee day-to-day warehouse activities including receiving, storing, and dispatching construction materials, tools, and equipment.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Maintaining a clean, organised safe working environment. This includes ensuring correct storage of goods, operating and maintaining equipment, and adhering to health and safety regulations.
  • Support with the organising of deliveries for materials to construction sites.
  • Conduct regular stock checks and reconcile discrepancies.
  • Lead, train, and manage warehouse staff
  • Coordinate with site supervisors, procurement & fleet teams.
  • Prepare regular reports for the Senior teams.
  • Identify opportunities to improve warehouse efficiency, layout, and workflows, and implement new procedures to optimise operations
  • Carry out weekly inspections of warehouses & external areas of the yard to ensure safe working spaces of yard and overall property.
  • Oversee routine maintenance of the warehouse, yard and external areas.
  • Responsible for Opening & Closing of warehouse securely.
