ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Warehouse Supervisor to oversee our warehouse operations and ensure the efficient management of inventory, staff, and daily activities at our Canning Vale site.
As a key leader in our logistics department, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe, organised, and productive work environment, while ensuring high standards of service and operational excellence. If you have experience in warehouse management, a strong ability to lead teams with a passion for streamlining processes, and thrive in a fast-paced environment, we’d love to have you on board!

Responsibilities
  • Lead the shift to ensure all warehouse operations like pick-pack, receipt, dispatch, and planning are executed on-time and in-full, adhering to Metcash’s values and procedures
  • Create a positive team culture by providing guidance, training, and feedback to staff, ensuring they feel supported and motivated.
  • Champion safety in the workplace, ensuring all OHS guidelines are followed, and any incidents are reported and addressed promptly.
  • Lead change by identifying areas of improvement, driving efficiency, and contributing to a culture of growth and engagement.
  • Coordinate daily staffing and operational needs, making sure we have the right team in place to meet our business demands while maintaining a balanced work environment.
  • Monitor and control warehouse costs, ensuring we operate efficiently and within budget.

  • Experience in FMCG operations and a proven track record of leading teams.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on collaborative solutions.
  • Knowledge of OHS and HACCP regulations, with a commitment to workplace safety.
