Your new role

  • Coordinate domestic and international freight movements
  • Track shipments and manage delivery schedules
  • Liaise with suppliers, freight forwarders and transport providers
  • Prepare freight documentation and shipping paperwork
  • Coordinate inventory transfers, stock movements and receipting
  • Raise purchase orders and support procurement administration
  • Maintain logistics and inventory records
  • Prepare logistics and shipment status reports
  • Support project delivery teams with logistics requirements
  • Assist with continuous improvement initiatives across the supply chain


What you'll need to succeed

  • Previous logistics, freight coordination or supply chain experience
  • Strong administrative and organisational skills
  • Experience with inventory management and transport coordination
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Office
  • Experience using Xero will be highly regarded

  • Lead and motivate a warehouse team, setting clear expectations and fostering a positive, high-performing culture
  • Coach, develop and support team members through regular feedback, training and performance conversations
  • Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, picking, dispatch and inventory activities
  • Monitor productivity, service levels and operational KPIs to ensure targets are consistently achieved
  • Champion a strong safety culture by ensuring compliance with workplace health and safety standards
  • Manage workforce planning and resource allocation to meet operational demands and customer requirements
  • Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives that drive efficiency, accuracy and operational performance

 

You’re Likely a Match If

  • Proven leadership experience within a warehouse, logistics, FMCG, distribution or supply chain environment
  • A passion for leading, coaching and developing high-performing teams
  • Strong people management skills, with the confidence to provide feedback and manage performance conversations
  • A hands-on leadership style, with the ability to lead by example and stay connected to day-to-day operations
  • The ability to make decisions, solve problems and prioritise effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • A strong commitment to workplace safety, quality standards and delivering excellent customer outcomes
  • Experience using warehouse management systems (WMS), RF scanning technology and other warehouse operational systems
