Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE:

In this key leadership position, you’ll be responsible for overseeing aspects of warehouse operations including receiving, storage, inventory, picking, and dispatch. This isn’t just a desk job – you’ll be right there on the floor with the team, ensuring smooth, safe, and efficient day-to-day operations.
Note: Our warehouse includes cold storage areas with temperatures as low as -18°F. You must be comfortable working in this environment.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

  • Lead and participate in warehouse activities: receiving, storing, picking, packing, shipping, and inventory management
  • Coordinate with production, QA, customer service, and procurement to ensure seamless operations
  • Ensure compliance with food safety regulations (HACCP/SQF, GMP). Training provided
  • Optimize warehouse layout for safety and efficiency
  • Train and guide new warehouse staff with a hands-on leadership style
  • Conduct inventory cycle counts and resolve discrepancies
  • Enforce all safety protocols, including those specific to cold storage areas
