Responsibilities

RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE BUT NOT BE LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING:

  • Immediate “Go Look See” support to Front Line Supply Operatives, recognising that key part of the role is to support the Front Line teams
  • Coach Front Line Supply Operatives, enabling them to solve problems
  • Use PDCA techniques to follow problems through to “100 year” fix in real time
  • Analise and report on all bottle supply interruptions and quality interventions to identify opportunities for reduction in Chronic (as opposed to Sporadic) losses
  • Be the first point of contact for HTW bottle supply and quality performance
  • Liaise with the Dairy Production Team on a regular and frequent basis to ensure the effective daily start-up of bottle supply to all filling lines and effective bottle size changeovers to meet the Dairy filling plan requirements
  • Attend and contribute effectively to dairy and external customer performance meetings as required.
  • Log all customer returns on appropriate documentation/systems
  • Facilitate reconciliation processes between Blow Moulding and Dairy (including HTW downtime, daily and weekly HTW bottle counts and Bottle Count System calibrations)
  • Monitor actual and planned bottle supply requirements & bottle stock levels against bottle production plan and make recommendations to the Shift Leader to optimise Customer Service and Blow moulding performance
  • Ensure all customer returns are correctly logged on the appropriate documentation and business system, and initiate/coordinate activity to follow issues through to “100 year” fix
  • Work to all Company standards & procedures with reference to Health and Safety, Product Quality and Food Safety & Hygiene
  • Report and record any unsafe conditions, near misses or accidents.
  • Coordinate scheduled Cleaning and 5S System upkeep activities and related responsibilities

MULLER RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Working with the Shift Manager and BM Tech L2, support the effective leadership and First Response capability of the shift operation
  • Support the Learning and Development of Supply Operatives through the provision of direct training and coaching
  • Support effective weekly and month end reconciliation processes including undertaking any stock take process (resin, regrind, munchy/flake, bottles, film, labels, printer ribbons, waste) as required
  • Coordinate and control the recycling of all bottle supply reject/waste material
  • Carry out system audits in any area where appropriately trained to ensure compliance in the areas of safety, hygiene, quality, etc.
  • Support and drive energy saving targets by only running the necessary services/equipment.
