Platform link: otrovato, B2B platform in Africa Location: Kenya Job Description: The Warehouse Manager will oversee all warehouse operations for otrovato, ensuring efficient handling of imported sourced goods. The role focuses on inventory accuracy, fast order fulfillment, cost control, and compliance with Kenyan regulations while supporting sales and distribution activities. Key Responsibilities: Optimize warehouse layout to support high SKU volume typical in trading businesses Manage day-to-day warehouse operations: receiving, storage, picking, packing, and dispatching. Oversee container unloading from the ports (Mombasa or ICD Nairobi) and ensure proper receiving procedures. Oversee container offloading into the warehouse, ensuring goods are handled safely and received in good condition with no damage, in line with approved receiving procedures. Conduct visual inspections during offloading, record any damage or shortages, and coordinate immediate reporting with supply chain, finance when discrepancies occur. Ensure proper documentation of container receipt, including seal verification and condition reports. Ensure timely dispatch of goods to customers, distributors, and retailers. Implement FIFO / FEFO practices, especially for fast-moving or expiry-sensitive products. Ensure accurate processing of GRNs, delivery notes, pick lists, and stock transfers. Coordinate with Supply Chain and Procurement on inbound shipments and replenishment. Ensure accurate processing of GRNs, delivery notes, pick lists, and stock transfers. Qualifications: Minimum of 3 years' experience in a supervisory role within a warehouse or logistics environment. Proven experience coordinating with transporters and clearing & forwarding agents. Hands-on experience with ERP, CRM, or ZOHO systems. Demonstrated leadership and people management capabilities. Strong knowledge of inventory control procedures and warehouse best practices. Excellent communication, coordination, and organizational skills.
