Responsibilities

A BIT ABOUT THE ROLE..

We’re looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Warehouse Supervisor to support our Production Manager and wider team with a mix of administrative, production, and supervisory tasks.
You’ll assist with production schedules, maintain accurate system data, oversee quality control, and ensure health and safety standards are met. You’ll also play a key role in team leadership when the manager is away, so strong problem-solving skills and a hands-on, organised approach are essential to keeping our warehouse running smoothly and efficiently.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide administrative support to the Production Manager and production team, including assisting with the production schedules, processing timesheets, and being readily available to assist as needed.
  • Confidently and proactively supervise production teams, stepping in to lead operations in the absence of the Production Manager.
  • Collaborate with the Production Manager to ensure all production tasks are completed on time and meet established deadlines.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date build times in the production system.
  • Oversee quality control throughout the entire production process, ensuring standards are met at every stage.
  • Apply strong analytical skills to identify and resolve production-related issues efficiently.
  • Monitor and assess the performance and efficiency of production equipment.
  • Assemble furniture, as well as fit additional component parts or adjust as needed.
  • Work effectively both independently under the guidance of the Production Manager and as a cohesive member of the wider production team.
  • Ensure strict adherence to all health and safety regulations and procedures.
  • Aim for zero errors across all areas of responsibility, promoting a culture of precision and excellence.
  • Maintain a clean, organised, and professional workshop environment—taking pride in its presentation at all times.
  • Inspect and quality-check incoming products for damage or defects before they enter the production workflow.
