Description JOB DETAILS: Level: Individual Contributor Exemption Status: Non-Exempt Primary Work Location: South San Francisco Warehouse Position Type: Full Time On-Site Requirement: Full Time Onsite Job Shift: Day JOB SUMMARY The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for updating and training all shipping staff to sort, recycle, store all materials using warehouse tools, exceeding daily quotas, maintaining a clean, safe and pleasant work environment, living the Company’s mission, core values and contributing to achieving our financial goals. RESPONSIBILITIES Maintains assigned work area in a neat and orderly manner. Provides a safe working environment at all time. Responsible for achieving assigned shipping goals from management. Works under the direction of assigned leaders and supervisors to reduce all elements of loss and shrinkage. Gives special attention to deterring theft and reporting suspicious activity when appropriate. Responsible for adhering to all policies, procedures and guidelines. Participates in all training activities and assignments as directed. Maintain and understand importance of high security environment Updating training documentation and training procedures Order processing supplies and materials Keep weekly inventory of supplies Manage vendor relationship and negotiate pricing Update and train staff on shipping software Improve shipping process through efficiency Maintain warehouse maintenance program Must be able to work flexible hours including but not limited to weekends and holidays. Other duties as assigned. Requirements QUALIFICATIONS: Minimum of (2) years experience in a warehouse environment related field. Minimum of (2) years of experience in leading and supervising the work of direct reports and warehouse operations. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and other computer system configurations Experience with Microsoft systems and other computer system configurations Supervisory experience Good written and verbal communication skills Fine motor coordination and visual skills required Creative problem solver Ability to work with a diverse and challenged workforce. Ability to lift 50 pounds on a regular basis. Physical Requirements Able to lift up to 35 lbs. Able to stand on hard surfaces for extended periods of time Ability to work weekend days
