REQUIREMENTS AND SKILLS

  • 3-4 years of experience in a warehouse department in a similar position;
  • Minimum High School Education or equivalent; some college work preferred;
  • Ability to demonstrate effective leadership skills;
  • Strong and Effective communication, and problem solving skills;
  • Computer literacy; ability to perform tasks in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook, as well as JD Edwards and RFSmart.
  • Ability to stand for extended hours;
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.;
  • Capacity to operate a forklift;
  • Ability to occasionally climb ladders;
  • Ability to wear any required PPE;
  • Ability to work around a variation of different smells and aromas;
  • Other physical requirements include occasional squatting, bending, and twisting;
  • Ability to adjust work schedule as business needs require.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee packaging, raw material and sampling receiving processes;
  • Provide direction and encouragement to staff and lead;
  • Personnel Management – Staffing, discipline, performance reviews, time off approvals;
  • Assign daily tasks to the lead and monitor staff performance;
  • Be familiar with company policies (such as SOPs) to complete all assignments;
  • Provide required training to staff and lead, Follow and promote proper inventory processes;
  • Approve weekly staff schedule;
  • Conduct in-depth problem solving of warehouse related issues;
  • Ensure warehouse is kept clean and organized;
  • Process the receiving of finished goods from Production (both physical product and paperwork involved);
  • Maintain Inventory accuracy;
  • Ensure staff follows all safety procedures;
  • Coordinate supplies related to warehouse including tape, wrapping supplies, and pallets;
  • Oversee and coordinate maintenance of fork lifts;
  • Follow and enforce GMP guidelines and processes as established in department SOPs;
  • Perform other duties as deemed necessary;
