Description

As the Warehouse Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the efficient operation of the warehouse section, ensuring the smooth flow of goods, maintaining a safe and organized work environment. You will lead a team of warehouse personnel, providing guidance, support, and training to ensure the team’s productivity and adherence to company policies and procedures.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of warehouse personnel, including recruitment, training, performance management, and scheduling.
  • Ensure the efficient and accurate receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping of goods.
  • Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) to improve operational efficiency, productivity, and accuracy.
  • Monitor inventory levels and collaborate with the inventory control team to ensure accurate stock counts, timely replenishment, and minimize stock discrepancies.
  • Maintain a clean and organized, and safe warehouse environment, adhering to health and safety regulations and promoting a culture of safety among the team.
  • Oversee the maintenance and operation of warehouse equipment, such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling.
  • Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and quality standards.

Qualifications :

  • A bachelor’s or associate’s degree in operations management or business management
  • may be advantageous.
  • Proven work experience in the relevant department.
  • Experience in implementing operational processes.
  • Good working knowledge of operational procedures and policies.
  • Strong project management, administrative management, and organizational skills.
  • Excellent leadership and decision-making skills.
  • Great communication and interpersonal skills.
