`Warehouse Supervisor required Stoke on Trent.
A leading UK warehousing and distribution company offering warehousing and distribution services for freight and is looking for a Warehouse Supervisor who is a natural self-starter.
You will be a hands-on supervisor working with the Operations Manager in a warehouse spread over 80,000 sq. ft., including receiving, storing, and dispatching goods. We are looking for someone with a strong warehouse supervision background and knowledge of WMS Systems and RF Scanners.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Experience supervising in a warehouse setting
• Experience of WMS systems and be computer-literate
• Forklift License, including Flexi and counterbalance essential
• VNA licenses desirable but not essential as training can be given
• Strong supervisory skills
• Self-motivated and the ability to work autonomously where required

• The Warehouse Supervisor must ensure full adherence to all health & safety policies.
• You will be hands-on, picking, packing and shipping goods from all storage facility areas and externally to customers’ specifications.
• As a warehouse supervisor, you will manage absences, probation, RTWs, agency controls, and conduct within the team.
• You will work closely with the Warehouse Manager to ensure and develop efficiencies in this company.
• All administration must be accurate and up-to-date
• All pallets must be moved and stored in line with company procedure
• Complete Operations Management duties in the manager’s absence
