About the role: We’re looking for an organised and motivated Warehouse Supervisor to lead the daily operations of our Family Store’s warehouse. This hands-on role is crucial in ensuring the smooth flow of donations and stock, supporting our retail mission, and helping make a real difference in the community. How you will make an impact: As Warehouse Supervisor, you’ll be responsible for: Overseeing daily warehouse operations and ensuring the store is always stocked and ready for customers. Sorting, preparing, and rotating donations for maximum saleability. Maintaining a clean, well-organised, and efficient warehouse space. Ensuring all donations are processed and distributed to stores promptly. Monitoring and managing inventory levels to optimise stock flow. Presenting furniture and other items in a way that enhances their appeal. Working closely with volunteers and supporting them in their roles. Reporting issues to Store manager in a timely manner. Contributing to increased sales through effective stock handling and presentation. Hold regular tool box meetings with store management and volunteer team What you will be bring: Proven experience in warehouse or logistics management. Strong leadership skills with the ability to support and motivate a volunteer team. Good communication and people skills and a team player. Physical ability to handle manual tasks as required. A current Driver’s Licence and Forklift Licence.
