Responsibilities

The Warehouse Supervisor leads a small team (three to five people) in loading up trucks, moving inventory, and keeping our day-to-day warehousing procedures smooth and efficient. As you oversee various responsibilities, you ensure your team completes accurate work. Here’s a brief overview of your role:

  • Guide your warehouse team in completing accurate, timely work while following safety procedures and industry regulations
  • Print and separate tickets
  • Oversee order picking and inventory packing and ensure trucks are loaded on time
  • Oversee accurate furniture assembly
  • Communicate and collaborate with the warehouse manager to address concerns and resolve issues
  • Train staff and help them improve
  • Communicate with 3rd-shift employees, the distribution manager, and HR staff
  • Handle other inventory and warehousing responsibilities as needed
