Description Job Type Full-time Asheville, NC • Warehouse Description Position Overview We’re hiring a reliable and detail-oriented Warehouse Support Specialist with forklift experience to help keep our warehouse and order fulfillment operations running smoothly. This is a hands-on role focused on material handling, inventory rotation, shipping and receiving, and supporting the fulfillment team. You’ll play a critical part in maintaining an organized, efficient, and safe warehouse environment while also helping prepare customer orders. Schedule: Full-Time, 1st Shift (M–F, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM) Key Responsibilities Unload incoming shipments, inspect for accuracy and damage, document raw ingredients and packaging materials in compliance with traceability and food safety standards, label, and receive inventory into the inventory system (ERP) Support fulfillment operations by transporting product, pulling stock by best-by date, and staging orders for shipment Support the fulfillment team by picking, staging, and helping fulfill customer orders accurately and on time Operate a forklift to handle and move raw materials, packaging, and finished product throughout the warehouse. Forklift operation represents approximately 50% -70% of the role, and may adjust with business needs. Perform material handling duties to support production and inventory needs Rotate product using FIFO (First In, First Out) by best-by dates Serves as point of contact for customers picking up orders from the dock Stage outgoing shipments, load trucks accurately for pickup, and document all shipments in the inventory management system (ERP) Keep the warehouse organized and clean with a focus on safety and efficiency Assist with tracking and recording inventory movements in the inventory management system (ERP) Perform other warehouse and production support duties as assigned Requirements Requirements Experience with Fishbowl or other warehouse program Forklift certification a plus but not required – we will train the right candidate Warehouse and material handling experience preferred Strong attention to detail and ability to follow FIFO and inventory procedures Comfortable working in a fast-paced, physical environment Computer and scanner skills for ERP data entry Reliable, proactive, and team-oriented with customer service skills Must be able to lift 50+ lbs and stand for long periods Must be able to climb stairs, bend, lift, lift overhead Must be able to wear any required PPE

Responsibilities

The Warehouse Support Specialist will unload shipments, inspect for accuracy, and support fulfillment operations by transporting products and staging orders. They will also operate a forklift and maintain an organized and safe warehouse environment.
