POSITION SUMMARY The Warehouse Team Coordinator – Cycle Count supports the Warehouse Supervisor by leading daily inventory control activities with a focus on cycle counting, inventory accuracy, and system integrity, enabling the Supervisor to focus on people leadership. This role is responsible for executing structured cycle counts, investigating discrepancies, performing root cause analysis, and ensuring accurate ERP (Oracle/IFS) transactions and reconciliations. The Coordinator works cross-functionally to resolve inventory issues that could impact production or shipping, helps drive Lean warehousing practices, maintains safety and 5S standards, and proactively communicates inventory risks, shortages, or variances to leadership. This position primarily supports inventory functions but may assist across shipping, receiving, or staging as needed. a { text-decoration: none; color: #464feb; } tr th, tr td { border: 1px solid #e6e6e6; } tr th { background-color: #f5f5f5; } RESPONSIBILITIES * Leads and executes daily, weekly, and monthly cycle count activities to maintain inventory accuracy. * Investigates inventory discrepancies, performs root cause analysis, and implements corrective actions. * Ensures accurate and timely ERP (Oracle/IFS) inventory transactions, adjustments, and reconciliations. * Partners with operations and materials teams to resolve inventory variances, shortages, and misalignments. * Identifies trends in discrepancies and drives process improvements to reduce inventory errors. * Supports inventory audits and ensures compliance with internal controls and audit requirements. * Maintains accurate location control, bin integrity, and material labeling standards. * Assists with material movement verification between receiving, staging, production, and shipping. * Trains and supports material handlers on proper inventory processes and scanning practices. * Escalates inventory risks that could impact production schedules or customer shipments. * Ensures adherence to 5S, safety, and warehouse organization standards within inventory areas. * Supports Lean initiatives focused on waste reduction, inventory optimization, and process standardization. * Communicates effectively with Supervisors, Operations, and Materials Management to ensure alignment. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS * High School diploma or GED. * 4+ years of experience in warehouse, inventory control, or materials handling. * Strong knowledge of inventory management, cycle counting, and ERP transactions. * Experience identifying and resolving inventory discrepancies. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS * Prior experience in a cycle count lead, inventory control, or coordinator role. * Experience with Oracle, IFS, or similar ERP/WMS systems. * Forklift certification or ability to become certified. * Familiarity with Lean principles and inventory accuracy metrics (e.g., count accuracy, shrinkage). EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATIONS * High School diploma or GED required. * 4+ years of relevant warehouse or inventory control experience. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS * Ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted, and between 50–100 pounds with assistance. * Ability to operate or learn to operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and RF scanners. * Ability to stand, walk, and work on concrete floors for extended periods. * Ability to analyze issues, direct inventory activities, and collaborate across teams. * Flexibility to work extended hours or alternate shifts as needed. ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS * Ability to work in warehouse environments with temperatures ranging above 100°F or below 32°F. * Exposure to noise, dust, and active material-handling equipment. * Safety Sensitive Position.
