Description
Support and initiate actions with management to ensure that personnel comply to the company's policies and performance/productivity levels. Assist other team members to improve their ability to meet quality and productivity standards. Provide feedback to management on matters that impede the progress of management's objectives of providing a harmonious, safe, and productive work environment. Assist with daily schedule for the warehouse and assign work to employees. Confer with other leads & management to ensure a picking order schedule that meets operational demands. Inspect materials, products, and equipment to detect defects or malfunctions. Communicate potential quality issues with received products to buyers and management. Ensure job order package is submitted to assemblers with each delivery. Audit inventory to keep systems in balance during daily order processing. Research and resolve all keyed issues, adjustments, and discrepancies. Ensure compliance with established internal control procedures. Assist in maintaining inventory accuracy. Complete follow up to all previous inventory adjustments. Complete and review cycle counts. Maintain time control tables consistent with base tables, key, and review allocations. Reviews work for accuracy and completeness. Submit tool, material, and safety supply requisitions as well as facilities requests when necessary. Contributes to department functions - meetings, goals, training, etc. Comply with and ensure department compliance with Company health, safety and environmental policies and all applicable U.S. import and export control and security regulations. Must have a High School Diploma or general education degree (GED) from an accredited institution Minimum of two (2) years of experience performing warehouse related job duties No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of Richmond, VA will be considered. Active Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation. Minimum of 5+ years of experience in a warehouse environment Minimum of 1+ years of being in a leadership role within warehousing Prior lead or supervisory experience preferred
