Location: McCook, IL Reports to: Warehouse Supervisor Requirements Accurate physical receiving of materials/product to maintain integrity of inventory control and insures delivery of materials/product to the proper department. 1. Coordinate the activities of warehouse staff, including picking, packing, shipping, and receiving. 2. Plan and prioritize work assignments for the team to ensure optimal workflow and productivity. 3. Train and develop team members on proper warehouse procedures, safety protocols, and company policies. 4. Monitor and enforce compliance with standard operating procedures (SOPs) to maintain quality control and accuracy of inventory. 5. Coordinate with other departments, such as McCook Warehouse, Mailing logistics, AMs and Production, to ensure smooth operations. 6. Oversee inventory management and conduct regular cycle counts and audits to ensure inventory accuracy. 7. Identify areas for process improvement and implement efficient warehouse practices to enhance productivity and cost-effectiveness. 8. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment. 9. Supervisor should always be aware of any issues or conflicts that arise within the team, this way you can be helped through coaching and mentoring in resolving the issue. 10. Prepare regular reports on warehouse activities and task through the to-do-list in outlook. 11. Get involve in the daily task and activities, strong leadership abilities help motivate and guide a team towards achieving goals. Qualifications: · Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing. · Ability to operate with a sense of teamwork. · Ability to always conducts himself/herself in a professional manner. · Must be certified to operate sit down forklift. (Clamp experience is a plus, but not required) · Computer literate · English is a must to be able to communicate with Account Managers · A minimum of 2 years warehouse experience is required. Work Environment/Physical Demands: · Ability to stand for 8 to 12 hours & walk 6-8 hours. · Lift up to 50lbs · Intermittent bending up to 3 hours. Including: o Bending neck o Bending waist o Twisting waist · Intermittent squatting up to 3 hours · Repetitive hand movement up to 8 to 12 hours including: o Simple grasping, hand manipulation, pushing/pulling. · Reach above and below shoulder height.
