JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Warehouse Lead to oversee daily operations in our warehouse environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a keen understanding of warehouse management systems, and the ability to drive process improvements. This role is essential in ensuring efficient workflow, maintaining safety standards, and delivering exceptional customer service.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Proven experience in a warehouse environment with supervisory experience preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and familiarity with QuickBooks.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills in English.
  • Experience with process improvement methodologies and data analysis skills is highly desirable.
  • Ability to operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely.
  • Strong leadership qualities with the capacity to motivate and develop team members.

Responsibilities
  • Supervise and lead a team of warehouse associates, ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures.
  • Coordinate daily warehouse activities including order picking, packaging, and shipping processes.
  • Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) to track inventory levels and manage stock movements effectively.
  • Implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and reduce waste.
  • Conduct regular training sessions for team members on safety protocols, equipment operation, and best practices.
  • Monitor performance metrics and provide feedback to team members for continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with other departments such as purchasing, sales, and management to ensure seamless operations.
  • Maintain accurate records of inventory levels using ERP systems such as SAP or QuickBooks.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations while performing heavy lifting tasks when necessary.
