HOW YOU CREATE IMPACT

We are currently looking for a Warehouse Team Leads to support our Contract Logistics business Distribution Centre in Brampton. The Warehouse Team Lead will be fully responsible for the safe, high quality, and productive delivery of 3PL logistics services to our internal and external customers. In addition to their standard job duties (Warehouse Person), the Team Lead performs junior leadership duties. This position is differentiated from the Supervisor by the combination of direct labour and leadership tasks performed.

  • Delegate tasks to warehouse employees
  • Train new hires and casual labourers
  • Act as a liaison between your manager and front line employees
  • Establish team priorities and complete multiple tasks with minimal supervision
  • Follow standard warehouse practices and work instructions required to maintain high levels of inventory and location accuracy. Documents and identifies all discrepancies to the warehouse supervisor or team lead.
  • Accurately complete routine documentation, such as pick sheets, manifests, and unload lists
  • Capable of heavy lifting up to 50 lbs.
  • Demonstrates accuracy and efficiency in the execution of standard warehousing processes such as receiving, picking, packing, shipping, checking and loading customer orders and products.
  • Comply with GMP requirements as applicable to ensure that all quality and regulatory requirements of Health Canada and other applicable authorities and client requirements are met.
  • Demonstrates and maintains professional interpersonal skills when dealing with internal and external personnel.
  • Follows all company safety, security and housekeeping protocols. Respects customer and company property and equipment.
  • Proactive in accident & incident prevention and fills out these reports promptly and accurately when required.
  • Strives to increase personal knowledge and shares work knowledge with less experienced staff.
  • Knowledge of various production and quality systems (GxP, ISO, Document Control, Lean, TPS, Six Sigma, etc.)
