Description Job Summary: The Warehouse Team Lead is responsible for overseeing daily warehouse operations, ensuring efficient workflow, accurate inventory management, and a safe working environment. This role includes supervising warehouse staff, coordinating shipments and deliveries, and maintaining high standards of productivity and quality. Key Responsibilities: Supervise daily warehouse activities including receiving, storage, order picking, packing, and shipping. Assign tasks and provide direction to warehouse associates to meet operational goals. Ensure that all inbound and outbound shipments are processed efficiently and accurately. Monitor workflows and adjust as needed to support changing priorities or workloads. Lead, motivate, and train warehouse staff to achieve performance targets. Provide coaching and feedback to team members to promote skill development and accountability. Assist in scheduling work shifts and ensuring proper staffing levels. Support new employee onboarding and ensure adherence to company policies and safety procedures. Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with regular cycle counts and audits. Investigate and resolve discrepancies in inventory or shipping documentation. Ensure all products meet quality standards before shipment. Oversee proper labeling, packaging, and handling of materials. Enforce safety policies and procedures to maintain a safe working environment. Conduct regular safety checks and report potential hazards promptly. Ensure compliance with warehouse regulations, company policies, and local laws. Identify opportunities for operational efficiency and cost reduction. Collaborate with management to develop and implement improved warehouse processes. Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) to optimize operations and track performance metrics. Qualifications: Required · High school diploma or GED. · 3+ years of experience in warehouse operations, with at least 1–2 years in a leadership role. · Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Microsoft Office Suite. Preferred Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree. Skills and Competencies: · Strong leadership and communication skills. · Excellent organizational and time management abilities. · Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment. · Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills. · Knowledge of safety protocols and warehouse best practices.
