JOB SUMMARY

We are a manufacturer of hoses and couplings looking for a hands-on Warehouse Team Leader to work alongside the team, helping to pick, pack, and dispatch customer orders on time. You’ll be the go-to person for daily operational issues and help keep the warehouse running smoothly, with a strong focus on meeting delivery deadlines and maintaining health and safety.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Proven experience in a warehouse environment, with a strong understanding of warehouse management systems.
  • Current forklift and/or high-level order picker license desirable.
  • Excellent verbal and written English skills.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work under pressure.

Responsibilities
  • Receive and check incoming deliveries, reporting any discrepancies or damage.
  • Pick and pack customer orders accurately and efficiently.
  • Use warehouse equipment like forklift trucks to load and unload goods safely.
  • Store stock correctly and keep the warehouse organised.
  • Help with stock checks and keep inventory records up to date.
  • Report any quality issues.
  • Work with the team to meet delivery targets on time and in full.
  • Monitor the flow of goods through the warehouse and flag any issues that may cause delays.
  • Help allocate daily tasks or priorities.
  • Act as the first point of contact for day-to-day queries in the Warehouse.
  • Any other reasonable duties or tasks as per management instruction.
  • Train new staff on warehouse procedures, safety protocols, and equipment operation.
