Responsibilities

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE:

Leadership and management of the Warehouse, Dispatch team members to achieve our business goals and objectives on a continuous basis and always seeking and implementing ways to improve, promoting Teamwork and interdepartmental collaboration.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • To manage the day to day running of the warehouse
  • Working with other departments to ensure that stock is picked and loaded on time and within the agreed procedures
  • Review daily dispatch schedule and implement work plan with warehouse operatives to ensure daily objectives are met
  • Using KBS system to capture all information correctly
  • Ensure all Tranships are loaded to meet DOT and all shorts are reported
  • Comply with Health and Safety standards- Support the reduction of LTI
  • Promote H&S best practise for plans throughout business
  • Sustain compliance standards (Team/ Machine/ Environment), for all Daily and customer Audits.

  • Work efficiently with QC Team Members to achieve internal and external customer requirements
  • Excellent communication with team to understand goals and targets on a continuous basis
  • Coaching and development of Warehouse team members

  • To actively promote health & safety standards, engage in implementing health and safety protocols, and contribute to a risk-free work environment for all, playing a crucial role in mitigating workplace risks and promoting the well-being of all team members.
