WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT THIS POSITION:

The Warehouse Team Leader is responsible for overseeing daily warehouse operations, ensuring the efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods. This role involves supervising a team of warehouse staff, maintaining inventory checks, and supporting continuous improvement in warehouse processes.

  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of warehouse staff.
  • Ensure accurate and timely order fulfillment and dispatch.
  • Monitor inventory levels and perform regular stock checks and audits.
  • Enforce safety and cleanliness standards in the warehouse.
  • Train, mentor, and support the development of team members.
  • Use warehouse management systems (ERP) for tracking and reporting.
  • Report performance metrics and KPIs to senior management.
  • Assist in resolving issues related to shipping delays, inventory discrepancies, or equipment malfunctions.

EDUCATION / CERTIFICATIONS:

  • University/College diploma or equivalent
  • 3+ years of experience in operations, manufacturing environment.
  • Familiarity with WMS, barcode scanners, and basic inventory software.

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:

  • On-site, no travel requirements.
